Throughout it’s run of 10 season’s the one character from Happy Days that viewers looked forward to seeing was that of Arthur Fonzarelli, aka The Fonz.
In 2008 the city of Milwaukee where the show takes place paid tribute to Fonzie’s character by dedicating a statue in his honor. The Bronze Fonz can be seen along Milwaukee’s RiverWalk District, standing at 5 feet 6 inches, the exact height of the man who played the part of The Fonz, Henry Winkler.
Like any Happy Days fan and countless tourists I had to give it Fonzie’s signature two thumbs up. Ayy !!!
The Brewers may be Milwaukee’s hometown team but we all know where production really took place right Fonz?
Back In L.A. … The Happy Days House
The house that’s appeared in many of the show’s exterior shots is actually located 5 minutes from where production took place at 565 N. Cahuenga Blvd. The Happy Days House was built in 1923 and remains occupied to this day. Of course, no disturbing of the residents.
